The movie is a remake of the 1986 movie of the same name, both based on the 1974 play 'Sexual perversity in Chicago' written by David Mamet.

Danny and Bernie are best friends. Bernie invites Danny,who has been single for a while,on a double date with a woman he met the night before. The woman,Joan, also brings her best friend, Debbie, and Danny ends up dating her, although he's still hang up on his ex girlfriend.

Bernie and Joan, have a toxic relationship which fizzles fast, and end up raging at each other whenever they meet.

Danny and Debbie have a normal relationship, and seem to be going the distance.

But Danny doesn't like his job anymore, and at Debbie's advice, quits, and ends up resenting her for it.

I personally found the movie rather boring.

I don't know why it's called 'About last night', as the movie spawns over a whole year!

Also, Michael Ealy plays a 28 year old, but he was 40 at the time.

Made in late 2012,with a budget of 13 million dollars,the movie made 50 million at the box office.

The actors were fine.

I didn't like the soundtrack.
