The movie is adapted from the MTV 1991 animation series(which spawn 3 seasons) with the same name.

Aeon apparently comes from the Gnostic notion of Aeon being an emanation of God,who comes in female and male pairs,as in Aeon,the lead,and the founder of Bregna,Trevor Goodchild.

I read about what Aeon means too,and this is the first time I hear about such a thing.

 

400 years into the future,after a deadly virus wiped 99% of the world’s population,the remaining people live in Bregna, a city were we find out they are all clones as the vaccine for the virus had a side effect-infertility.

 

Aeon is part of the underground organisation called the Monicans,who want to overthrow the Goodchilds and end their ruling,as they’re seen as dictators under who’s rule people disappear.

Aeon is the clone of Trevor’s wife,who was supposed to be destroyed at his brother’s orders. His brother who wanted to rule forever.

This movie was awful.

I didn’t like the soundtrack.

The acting from Charlize and Marton Csokas was so bad,and that says a lot coming from me,since they are 2 of my favorites. I saw them in so many movies,and never did I think that they sucked at acting.

I only liked the fighting scenes.

The costumes were bad,I only liked the black one Charlize wore.

 

Rating : Could have been a contender !
