Sasha and Marcus grew up together in San Francisco, their houses were one right next to the other, and due to the fact her parents were never home, she spent most of her time with Marcus and his family. His mother taught Sasha how to cook.

After his mother dies, they become more than friends, but that ends quickly, as they start fighting right after. And never speak again.

16 years later, Sasha is a famous chef in Los Angeles who opens new restaurants around the US, who is engaged to be married in 2 months, with an entrepreneur.

The man, whom she calls a "very young 50" years old, breaks up with her, as she plans the wedding, saying they should take a break and date other people.

Sasha gets ready to open a restaurant in San Francisco, and moves in a rented house for 2 months. She wants air conditioning, and her best friend from school, Veronica, now her assistant, hires Marcus' father's firm. His father works now with Marcus.

Marcus still lives with his father, and still plays in small gigs with his band, as he is afraid of change.

While working on arranging the restaurant, Sasha starts spending time with Marcus, to the point, Marcus, who actually has a weird girlfriend, almost asks her out again, until he finds out Sasha is dating someone.

She asks him and his girlfriend on a double date, and she brings her hot new man, Keanu Reeves!

Marcus is annoyed by everything Keanu does, because he wants Sasha, and Keanu senses it, being a sensible guy.

I personally enjoyed the movie, it made me laugh, a few times with tears.

Marcus doesn't want to leave his comfort zone, until he realizes he really wants Sasha. While Sasha wants Marcus to want her enough not to be bothered by her hectic lifestyle.

Sasha doesn't like her own parents, and stays away from them, as when she was a child they left her home alone a lot. Now they want to be in her life, but she's not having it. Sasha is actually surprised at the gifts they buy their godson, Sasha's cousin, and how close they are with him, considering they bought her gifts like flip flops when she was a kid! They still don't like to tip though!

The movie looked good, I liked the places they filmed at and the interior design.I liked Ali Wong's glasses, she had so many different pairs.

The acting was good. Keanu plays himself. Keanu's role was written for him, and not only that he fit the filming of this movie between the filming of John Wick, but he also came up with the idea of wearing glasses without lenses, naming the Chinese dignitaries, the air fighting and the line "I don't have a problem Sasha. What's your problem?" .

The soundtrack was Ok, Marcus' music was good, he even wrote a song about his fight with Keanu.

The movie received positive reviews, and was even nominated for a few awards, the song "I punched Keanu Reeves" being nominated for Best Song at the 2019 Houston Film Critics Society Awards, but winning it at the Chicago Indie Awards.
