The movie opens with our lead, Angela, in the car with her best friend, who fights with her two kids. Angela seems to have morning sickness, as she opens the window.

Her husband, Curtis, is best friends with her best friend’s husband, who cheats on his wife, trying to make Curtis walk on the same path.

Angela works for a cosmetics company, while her husband is one of the best lawyers in Chicago, managing to get cheating husbands out of iron clad prenups.

Angela is hoping to become a VP at her company, as she lands a perfume ad campaign for pregnant women.

When she gets in the room, trying to pitch her idea to her boss, her stomach is acting up, but she doesn’t think anything of it.

After she gets the job, and she tells her hubby about it, he tells her he is ready to gave kids, although she is not too sure about it. Coming out of the car, she throws up on a man!

They have dinner with their best friends, Sylvia and Danny, and the two fight in front of them, as the husband doesn’t care about putting up a façade. Danny complains about the wife not looking good anymore, but she looks pretty good to me, and ends up saying how men pay for s3x.

That very night, at home, Sylvia throws Danny out, as she had enough of his antics.

At night, Angela has a nightmare about Curtis cheating on her with a beautiful model, and the next day it sort of comes true, as she sees him kissing a woman in a restaurant, after she found a card for erotic massages in his pocket.

Seeing her best friend for lunch, after she ate a lot already, she throws up again, and goes to the doctor, who tells her she’s pregnant.

Angela is trying to talk to Curtis about what she saw, and they end up fighting, her telling him she’s pregnant, with him ending up believing she cheated and is not his baby, as she says the father of her child is not who she thought it would be, leading to the big misunderstanding every movie of this kind has.

Curtis is moving out, and as she asks him if he’s moving in with the one he cheats on her with, he asks who’s baby is she having!

He moves in with his best friend, who has parties with strippers, but all he can think about is Angela.

This doesn’t last long (only a few hours), as he’s worrying about who she’s dating, and Curtis moves back into the house.

The two fight all the time, him telling her he’s not letting her move in with “her man”, although she doesn’t have any other than him, and her complaining about him cheating, but he won’t even listen to her, letting her finish her thought, telling him she saw him kissing another woman!

The movie personally bored me, as I expected a light, fun, comedy, the likes of “How to lose a guy in 10 days” and got a vulgar movie instead. Luckily, I like Heather Graham, so I watched it for her. Speaking of which, Heather is gorgeous, and I also liked her gay assistant.

“Baby on board” is the name of the ad campaign Angela is working on.

The acting was good.

The soundtrack was so and so.

The movie received negative reviews, with a score of 30 on Metacritic, and a 20% critic approval rating against a 19% audience score rating (based on more than 5000 reviews!) on Rotten Tomatoes .

Viewer discretion is advised, as the movie contains mature content (from language – very explicit and vulgar, to nudity ). The movie is for mature audiences, 18+, do not watch it with your kids!

Rating : Could have been a contender !
