The movie is based on the Valiant comics character,Bloodshot,created in 1992. 

 

After finishing his mission,marine Ray Garrison goes on a trip with his wife. They are caught and she is murdered. Or so we think.

He wakes up in the lab of a scientist who tells him he is dead and has been enhanced with technology.

He is set on a path of revenge as he remembers who killed his wife and goes after him,being enhanced with nanotechnology and being able to access everything with his mind,making it very easy.

 

Toby Kebbell, one of my favorites since I watched Black Mirror years ago,was amazing,at first as the ruthless killer ,then as the opposite!

 

Sam Heughan another one of my favorites since I saw him in Outlander,duh,makes evil sexy. We don’t know why doesn’t he like Ray,he just doesn’t,maybe he doesn’t like him because he wants the girl who seems to be into Ray. His character is not fleshed out,he seems to be there to be the villain.

 

The computer nerd was funny and delightful.

 

What I didn't like was the coloring at the beginning in Kenya and Hungary,that ugly decomposing green - brown something.

 

All in all,I personally loved this movie. It didn’t have a dull moment,it didn’t bore me,the acting was good,the music also..the visual effects weren't bad either..  thumbs up!
