Blue skies over Bucharest

Bucharest is the most populated city of Romania, and the country's capital.

Its population of almost 2 million people, makes it one of the biggest cities in the European Union (8th place!).

The city was first mentioned in the year 1459, during the second reign of the Romanian ruler, Vlad Tepes, and in the year 1862 it became the capital of the United Small Sovereign States.

Its architecture gave it in the Belle Epoque era the title of "Little Paris".

Populatia sa de aproape 2 milioane locuitori, il face unul dintre cele mai mari orase din Uniunea Europeana (este pe locul 8!).

Orasul a fost pentru prima oara mentionat in anul 1459, in timpul celei de a doua domnii a voievodului Vlad Tepes, iar in anul 1862 a devenit capitala Principatelor Unite .

Architectura sa i-a adus in vremea Belle Epoque denumirea de Micul Paris.
