The movie was written and directed by Lawrence Kasdan, and inspired by the classic 1944 noir movie, Double Indemnity, which was based on the 1943 novel of the same name.

It is a hot Florida summer, and Ned Racine, a not so good lawyer, meets the sexy and classy Matty Walker. He falls for her right away, but she tells him she is married. He doesn't really care,especially when he hears the husband only comes home on weekends. She spits the ice cream on her shirt due to something he says, and asks him to bring her something to clean herself with,and disappears on him.

Ned drives around the neighborhood she said she lives in,Pinehaven, and keeps on attending the same live band night show he saw her at, but no luck.

Until he drives to a Pinehaven cocktail bar, and sees her there.

 

She takes him to her place under the pretense of seeing the wind chimes, and they start a torrid affair. It doesn't take long, and they start talking about her husband disappearing,and Ned even talks about k1lling him.

The husband comes home on weekends, and he actually seems nice,but that doesn't stop Ned from coming up with a plan to get rid of him. And he does. Problem is, Matty is greedy,she wants all of her husband's fortune,so she changed his will behind her husband and Ned's back, as Ned didn't want to do it, so the police start getting suspicious. The more his colleagues tell him about Matty and the case, the more Ned thinks Matty might take him for a useful idiot and use him for a good framing.

The movie was good, it doesn't miss a beat. Usually the movies I watch are action packed, this one was nudity packed,as they can't keep their hands off each other,or more like Matty can't get enough of him.

I liked the house,it looked so beautiful,classy,still in fashion,and Kathleen Turner's outfits,which also look fashionable. She was very classy.

The actors were good. Kathleen Turner is the only one who seems a bit off,but I think it might be because she is playing him,and she is pretending the whole time.

I didn't like the soundtrack, as it is jazzy,and I hate Jazz.
