Jonathan McQuarry is a corporate auditory who works for different power broker offices.
One night he meets Wyatt Bose,a lawyer who is the opposite of him: charming, a hit with the ladies.
Wyatt befriends him, they start spending time together, and all of a sudden, they are best friends.
Wyatt needs to leave for a business trip to London, and takes Jonathan's phone. Jonathan has his. He starts getting calls from random women, and he chooses to go to the hotel one of them asked him to.
This leads him to have random one night stands with powerful women who don't have time for a relationship(this sounded so sad and depressing to me!),in what is called The List.
He ends up meeting the woman he was attracted to at the subway,on one of these encounters. He refuses to do the nasty with her,as he wants to get to know her.
On their second date she disappears from their hotel room, and Wyatt comes back asking him to steal money from the firm he's gonna work for next.
The movie was good,it was intriguing,it gripped me,I was interested in what the character was going through, and I was going through the motions with him.
If you actually pay attention to the details, you'll see from the beginning that something is fishy with Wyatt (his interactions with people),and with the woman Jonathan falls for (why would someone who only wants s3x,want to eat and talk to some random stranger, when the rules of the game forbid it,and that's not why she was there for ?).
The world Jonathan ends up in, is very lonely and sad,as everybody involved in it is like the animals (the rules of the List say they don't have to speak, no names, complete strangers who meet to just have s3x).
The actors were good.
The soundtrack was great.
