Dr. Susan McCallister's research is about to be terminated by her company,as one of her test sharks escaped, and was about to eat a group of people partying on a boat.

She has three sharks in her lab on which she performs tests in order to find the cure for Alzheimer's. To her it's personal as her father had the disease and scarred her.

She manages to convince the financial backers to give her 2 more days to see results, but one of their corporate executives goes with her.

The place where she works,Aquatico, used to be a World War 2 underwater facility for submarine fuel filling. It has underwater labs and everything else. The corporate executive calls it " Alcatraz Floats" due to the fact it's in the middle of the ocean.

The facility has more sharks, out of which ,the 3 test sharks are bigger than the rest and smarter. They start acting out when they try to bring one in, as they seem to coordinate against them.

When they start taking down the facility, flooding it, the good doctor admits in order to get their protein complex from the brain tissue, they had to do experiments on them, increasing their brain size, making them smarter.

Now the sharks are hunting them, one by one.

The actors were good, except for the ones who play the random people on the boat at the beginning of the movie.

LL Cool J was great and funny.

And..Thomas Jane looks great in this movie.

The visual effects were good.

I didn't like the soundtrack, except for the songs which open and close the movie, the closing song being LL.Cool J's.

The movie is for rent of sale on Amazon, Apple, DirecTv, Google, Redbox, Vudu, Youtube.

Rating : Worth a watch !
