Will is trying to be a present father, as his job keeps him away from his son a lot, and his wife who's a nurse or surgeon, always has to find the time to be there for the kid.

Will has the amazing idea of taking his family to his hometown on a weekend, to teach his son how to hunt, hoping this will teach him how to fight his bully.

In town, he almost backs his car into the police car, and when the Police chief sees it's him he lets him go, warning him there's been a bank robbery.

They stay at his aunt's place, and early in the morning, Will takes his son buck hunting, although it's raining. His son almost gets his shot, but the buck is scared by two people fighting. Will sees one of them shooting the other, and hearing the noise his son made, is trying to k1ll them too. Will sho0ts the man who was aiming the gun at his son, ready to sho0t, and k1lls him. Checking the bodies, he discovers he's a cop. Seeing the other is still alive, he brings him to his aunt's place, and asks his wife to extract the bullet from his shoulder.

When the man wakes up, instead of thanking them, he takes their son hostage and asks Will to take him back to the sh00ting sight, to get the key he threw away.

The police are there, and the man takes Will's car with his son inside. Will chases the car while he is being chased by a police officer who sh00ts at him. When he catches up with Will, he tells him his son is in the car.

The man who took his car and kidnapped his son tells him to find the key he threw in the grass and he'll get his son back, giving him instructions. At the same time, corrupted police officers are on their tracks, trying to get the money from the robbery.

I personally enjoyed the movie, the leading characters all have their reasons for doing what they are doing, it's not all black and white. Will is trying to make up for never being there for his son, so he tries to teach him to defend himself, although I don't think this is the best way to do it, he could have just taken him to self defense classes or karate lessons. I do not approve of hunting for sports.

The man who took his son was in the bank robbery with the corrupted cops, because he needed money to help his fiancee's mother who had many health problems and was bed ridden. The corrupted cops just wanted the money, and use him as a scapegoat (SPOILER and one of them might have been behind Will father's death, who used to be a cop).

The acting was good.

I liked the soundtrack.

The movie received negative reviews, and grossed almost 347.300 dollars at the box office against a budget of 10 million, being a flop.

The movie is for free on Kanopy, Plex; free with ads on Amazon Prime Video with Ads, The Roku Channel; 7 days free on FuboTv, MovieSphere+ Amazon Channel; is for rent / sale on Amazon, AppleTv, Fandango at Home.
