A CDC team is sent to investigate an outbreak in an Arctic lab.

There,they find people infected with a non-airborne virus turning people zombie-like, which are compelled by the virus to spread it, infecting people through oral contact as in kissing them, trying to put the black goo coming out of them into the new host.

The virus has about 3 strains,one which makes people immortal,another which liquifies them,and another which turns them into vectors / zombie-like creatures,spreading the virus.

Nothing’s what it seems,as everything seems to have something to do with Julia. Also,people keep changing teams,and none of them are who they say they are.

The series has 2 seasons,the second one feeling more like a cult series with religion obsessed people.

The acting was good,the visual effects also.
