Hello there! - Foreword
Hello there, everybody, I'm author Satya Graha and this is the realm I post in.
I started writing from a young age as I was writing poems about what I was going through. As a kid growing up, when I listened to a song, I used to have an idea in mind about how I thought the video should look like. I have notebooks filled with video ideas.
I started writing for the first time for an HBO script contest, I wrote half of the script, Anima Sola, but thinking I can't write, I stopped. But the idea stayed with me. Later on, in 2010, I had another idea for a book, which I finally put on paper in 2013, in november. The book is called Samsara. I then went back to Anima Sola and finished it.
Ever since, I've been writing.
The first books I wrote are gothic horror with a romantic core to hold them together, but I realized the dark side doesn't capture me anymore, so I try to write about the light.
When I started writing my romantic books I wrote them for some of my Facebook friends who were fangirling over certain men/entertainers, I wanted to give them the happy ending they only dreamt about.
I reckon the books I write aren't for everybody. I like nice men, so my books are for the romantics, for the women who like nice men, who appreciate a man who treats them nicely and loves them, not one who treats them like dirt. If you like bad boys, my books are not for you.
I noticed from being on a book club site, that most women like bad boys, men who treat them, or the character like a used rag, and that's not what you're gonna find in my books.
My books are about men who treat women with respect, who know a good (or bad) woman's worth. My books are about women who appreciate a good man and recognize him when they see or have him.
My books are about finding magic in the mundane, about signs and wonders (or how the skeptics call them, synchronicities ) bringing people together.
My books are for people who believe in happy endings, forever love and soulmates.
That being said, I hope you enjoy my books, and find in them an escape from reality, where dreams come true and happy endings exist, where the dreamer gets their wish and the fangirl gets to be with the man of her dreams.
I put in all my books the wisdom I gathered from Yoga and Buddhism books, from healthy living and mysticism, that's why I use the Satya Graha pen name, which means "the path to the truth, truth force, holding firmly to truth", a term coined by Mahatma Gandhi.
