Shannon comes home from work(she is a nurse) expecting to go out with her musician boyfriend for her birthday, but he's busy with mixing the voices of people he is spying on, and refuses to go out with her.

Frances is a good actress who can't get a good acting job. Hearing Shannon's man ditched her on her birthday, she takes her out, and they get drunk.

Back to Shannon's place,they use Ray's equipment to eavesdrop on people's private conversations. And..after they hear a couple fighting, they realize a phone conversation gives information about a police car, on Shannon's street,passing by the bank a heist takes place at!

They go to the police, but they don't believe them.

 

The next day they hear on the news about the bank robbery.

And they decide to blackmail the robbers, since Frances wrote on her hand the number of one of the bank robbers.

Frances makes the most of her acting skills, as she is using different voices on the robbers, to the point they think she is a man!

This was one of my favorite movies,20 years ago. The movie is fun and entertaining,I still laughed with tears, the girls are good leads, I love their acting. I love the actress, and her acting, although her friend calls her a bad actress!

I liked how the movie was put together, the visual effects. I loved the architecture, the houses were beautiful. I think the house of the mob boss is a museum in real life.

 

The actors are good.

The soundtrack and the songs chosen for the movie were good.

The movie grossed 2.3 million dollars against a budget of 10 million, and received negative reviews.
