Imaginary Friend

Year of release : 2012

Run time : 1h26min

Genre : Thriller

Cast : Ethan Embry, Lacey Chabert

The movie centers around this woman who, growing up, due to her father’s violence against her mother, developed an imaginary friend. Now,she doesn’t see her because she is medicated.

She is married, and her father made this ridiculous will which bounds her to a man for all her life-she needs to be married to get her fortune, while at the same time, her husband gets her money through the power of attorney. Also,if she divorces she loses everything.I don't know what kind of rich father would do such a thing, this is insane.

It’s clear her husband has wondering eyes, and he is not really into her, although she is a beautiful woman.

She starts seeing this blonde woman who says she is her childhood imaginary friend, although she takes pills.

Her husband keeps pushing for her to be committed while it's clear he has a mistress, just not the one we thought.

I loved the twist, how the player becomes the played, and gets his comeuppance.

Except for Ethan Embry, everybody else was not that good at acting, some were awful.

The soundtrack was good,I liked it.

Rating : Could have been a contender !
