The movie is a remake of the German movie "SMS Fur Dich",based on a novel by Sofie Cramer.
Mira has a perfect relationship with her boyfriend. Unluckily,he dies hit by a car,off screen,right in the first scene.
Two years later, Mira still didn't get over him,and lives with her parents. Her sister keeps nagging her to move in with her,so she does.
Her sister gives her the box Mira's boyfriend's parents left her,with his things. Going through it, Mira finds the ring he wanted to give her,and starts wearing it. She starts sending messages to his phone,who's number belongs now to Rob.
Rob was left by his fiance,a few days before the wedding. He refuses to date,but he starts feeling for the woman who keeps sending him messages,and starts wondering who she is,wanting to meet her.
Rob's boss asks him to write a piece on Celine Dion,and he's not happy about it. Meeting Celine Dion,they start a weird relationship,as she gives him advice about relationships and love,reminiscing her own with her husband, Rene,who passed away.
Mira sends him a message about going to the opera,and Rob goes to the opera for days,to meet her. When he finally meets her,she agrees to go out with him. They find out they have many things in common.
The movie was surprisingly good,coming from Hollywood / British media, as lately they don't want people or at least their characters to have a happy ending.
The movie had a lot of heart,not just through the the leads finding each other,but also through Celine who talks about her past relationship with husband Rene.
The soundtrack was good, most of the songs belong to Celine. I'm surprised they didn't play 'My heart will go on' as it really matched this movie,as I think it's about someone who survives their loved one's death.
The actors were good.
The movie is out in cinemas.
