Chloe has been dating Eric for 10 years. Eric was always a fan of an '80's show,Love's Last Resort. Chloe became a doctor,but Eric remained the same,obsessed with the same show,spending his time on the couch,reviewing the episodes.

Chloe is expecting a big dinner on their 10 year anniversary and is disappointed when she sees that he forgot about it,and was still on the couch,watching reruns of Love's Last Resort!

She breaks up with him,but six months later,still waits on him to call her to rekindle the relationship!

Eric calls her after six months,and asks her out. Chloe thinks he wants her back,so she dresses up,but he tells her he is getting married in a week in a themed wedding based on his and his soon to be wife's favorite show,Love's Last Resort,and even wrote a book,about,you guessed it,his favorite show(eye roll)!

 

Chloe is best friends with one of her older patients. She invites her on a well deserved getaway,at a beautiful resort .

Getting settled in,Chloe finds out from a wedding planner,that the two tickets herself and her friend have,are due to two people canceling theirs,for the wedding. The shocker comes when she finds out who's wedding it is,her ex boyfriend's ,Eric!

Having a sort of breakdown,she befriends the wedding planner and the manager of the hotel,Hunter,a gorgeous man.

Sneaking through the kitchen,at her ex's pre wedding party,she saves her ex's fiance's life,who is allergic to pretty much everything,and who got an allergic reaction just by kissing her man who ate something she's allergic to!

 

She is saving face when the manager of the place sees her talking to them,and lies to them he is her boyfriend,and she works at the hotel as the doctor. Following this,she actually gets the job as the doctor,as faith will have it!

Alyssa,Eric's fiance,is inviting them to dinner,as a Thank You for saving her life .

At the dinner,the two seem to be made for each other,-to us and to Hunter-,but Chloe sees things differently,and is set on breaking them up,as she thinks the two have nothing in common,although they share the most important thing in common,the love for the '80's show,Love's Last Resort!

This leads to a series of embarrassing events for Chloe as she is torn between her former love and a new man,who wants her heart,Hunter.

The movie was a light romance,with a few comedic accents.

The actors were fine, Thomas Beaudoin seemed to have been the best to me. The others at times seemed to be exaggerating,the lead was most of the time over the top.
