Bill Gluckman is a senator who's son is a wanna-be rapper, who pretty much destroys his campaign. His PR team come up with a plan to get Brad out of their way. The team propose they hire the actors they had in one of their announcements to show him how the people he impersonates live,to scare him out of this rapper phase.

This leads to a series of funny, yet unfortunate events for Brad. Especially since he learns the truth, but, what he thinks is fake now,is actually real.

This is one of my favorite movies, whenever I watch it,I laugh with tears. B-Rad is adorable and funny. The characters have growth, the father doesn't care for his career when he hears his son's life is in danger, and Shondra, who at first doesn't know what to think about B-Rad, ends up falling for him, because he doesn't treat her bad,the way her ex did,but believes in her and tells her she can achieve whatever she puts her mind to.

The character B-Rad was inspired by Eminem's character from the movie "8 mile" , and was first introduced to the audiences in Jamie Kennedy's stand-up and show "The Jamie Kennedy Experiment".

The acting was top notch, the actors give 100%. Taye Diggs was amazing,I hated him in 'Equilibrium' and loved him in this one,he's that good!

Snoop Dogg makes a cameo as the voice of a mouse.

The soundtrack was so and so, as B-Rad's songs are bad. I didn't like the rap battle, as I didn't find good or nice, any of the things they rapped about. They didn't rhyme either.

The movie received mixed to positive reviews from critics and audiences, and grossed 34 million dollars at the box office against a budget of 15 million.

Rating : Worth a watch !
