Inspired by the Leopold and Loeb case from 1924, the movie is about two smart teenagers who want to create the perfect murder,confident that they can fool the police and get away with it.

They choose a woman, kidnap her and kill her at a remote location, then transport her near a river in the woods, take fibres and hair from the man who sells them drugs' carpet and monkey,placing them on the murder scene.

At first the police officers are fooled, except for agent Cassie Mayweather who finds everything suspicious, and suspects the two from the moment she talks to one of them, and then follows him around, seeing him interact with the other.

Her captain is against her investigating these kids as their parents are very rich and influential, Richard's father supporting him in his campaign.

Cassie is also battling some personal demons,and we see why she is so determined to catch the killer,why her job is so important.

The actors were good, the movie has a few plot twists, which keep it going and entertaining.
