My super ex-girlfriend

Jenny Johnson is a superhero who's alter ego is G-Girl.

Matthew Saunders has been single for 6 months,since his girlfriend left him. He sees Jenny on the subway and is convinced by his friend to ask her out. Jenny refuses him. A thief grabs her purse and runs away with it. Matt chases after him,and after getting the purse back,the thief chases after him.

Unbeknownst to him,he is saved by Jenny who uses her powers.

Impressed by his bravery,always having to save and help people,now being helped by someone herself, Jenny accepts to go out with him.

Matt is best friends with a female co-worker, Hannah, who is dating a lingerie male model.

On the date,Jenny gives off the vibe she's unstable,because she hears there's a fire,and has to go help.

Telling Hannah about it, she thinks she's just as crazy as his exes,as crazy girls are attracted to him like a magnet.

Talking to his guy friend, he decides to go on another date with her. They end up spending the night together,and she ends up breaking his bed and the plumbing between his legs.

 

After his night with Jenny, Matt is taken by G-Girl's antagonist, asking him for information about her. He refuses to tell him anything,so he hangs him from the Statue of Liberty,sending Jenny a message about it.

The villain uses this opportunity to break into her apartment, and take her hair,as he tries to find a way to take her powers.

Jenny tells Matt she's G-Girl, and she takes him on a ride around town.

Visiting him at work, Jenny gets jealous on Hannah,and starts acting crazy. Matt can't take it anymore,so he breaks up with her.

She is a little bitter,so she starts tormenting him,like,taking his car and throwing it in space,making a hole through his ceiling...

Matt realizes he's in love with Hannah,and when she breaks up with her man whom she found cheating with 3 other women, he confesses his feelings for her.

They spend the night together,and are visited the next morning by Jenny who blows a hole through her wall,throwing a shark through it.

 

Matt is visited again by Jenny's enemy,and he agrees to help.

Will they be able to trick her and take her powers?

There are certain scenes which don't make sense with the meteor and the superpowers. When she gets her powers her hair turns blonde (why?) but Hannah's turns red (why again),Jenny also gets straight teeth,bigger breasts...doesn't make any sense. Also, she moves the bed and breaks it,including the wall when they sleep together,their poor neighbors,the noise they were making! I don't know how they thought this was cool!

Also,there's a scene in which Matt helps Hannah with some books,and from an angle her skirt is short,but from another,the skirt has a normal length,so is definitely not the same skirt.

The movie was a flop, making only 61 million dollars against a budget of 30 million,receiving mixed reviews, as the critics liked this fresh, new idea for a superhero movie, but didn't like the screenplay.

The actors were fine,and so were the visual effects.

The soundtrack was fine.
