Stu is a New York publicist, who lies to everyone to get his way. He calls different magazines lying to each one the other magazine features his magician client, in order to get him in the magazines.

He uses a police officer to give him information on celebrities in order to sell it to the magazines, in return giving him Britney Spears concert tickets. He strings his assistant along, without paying him.

He uses a public phone in Times Square whenever he calls a female client he wants to sleep with. He takes his wedding ring off, and tries to make her meet him at a hotel, but she always says No. This time, right before he calls her, a man delivering a pizza says he was called to bring him a pizza, but he sends him away.

While thinking about what to do next, as Pam rejected him again, the phone rings, and Stu answers it. The man tells him he should have accepted the pizza, and that he can’t hang up the phone.

The man tells him he can see him, and if he hangs up someone will get hurt.

The man hangs up and calls him again. At first, Stu thinks the man is a failed actor who has a grudge on him, but he tells him about two other men he phone stalked, who were shot on the street.

The man calls Pam, telling her Stu only wants to sleep with her. Stu can hear everything the two talk about. He then asks him to call his wife and tells her he wants to sleep with other women. Because Stu had enough, the man tells him if he hangs up he’ll k1ll him. To prove his point, he sho0ts a toy walking into the phone booth.

Stu upsets the pr0stitutes working on the street, as they want to use the payphone, and he doesn’t let them. They call their pimp, and while fighting with Stu, the man beats him pretty bad, for he won’t leave the booth, so the man on the phone asks him if he wants him to sho0t the man, so he says Yes, and he sho0ts him.

The pr0stitutes think Stu sh0t him, and call the police.

Because he sees or hears Stu making a call to 911, the shooter shoots close to him, to scare him.

The police show up, asking him to put his arms up and leave the booth. Because he won’t come out, the police think maybe he wants them to k1ll him. The shooter tells him to be rude to the detective or he’ll sho0t the man, so he is.

Stu’s wife and Pam, both show up to the scene, and the sho0ter tells him to tell them the truth if he wants to live.

I personally enjoyed the movie.

Stu is a dishonest man, who lies to everyone, and who is not nice to people. He was dismissive and rude to the nice pizza man, SPOILER who, after, is framed by the shooter END OF SPOILER. He is just as rude to the pimp, and the detective who comes to the scene. I felt bad for everyone he came in contact with, as they all seemed nice, while he was just being mean.

His wife was nice,SPOILER and I didn’t like the fact she forgave him on the spot for wanting to cheat on her. He also says he loves her, but if he did he wouldn’t have tried to cheat. END OF SPOILER

The movie is set in real time, using at times more than one split screen.

The movie is set in New York, but it was filmed in Los Angeles.

The acting was good, especially from Colin Farrell.

The soundtrack was good.

The visual effects were good.

The movie received positive reviews from platforms like IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic. It

grossed almost 98 million dollars at the box office, against a budget of 13 million dollars.

Jim Carrey was originally cast to play Stu, but he dropped out.
