I loved this movie when I was a kid. It was one of my childhood’s favorite movies. It’s an Australian mini-series of the early ‘80’s. Apparently having 3 seasons with 22 episodes each,lasting from 1983 through 1986.

The movies I watched were set in two episodes,or parts,being two movies of an hour and a half each.

The first part is very fast paced until the last half an hour,becoming very slow paced,as I’m guessing,they wanted to end it with her at the modelling agency.

About the modelling agency,from what I know,being in your forties,even looking thirty,no modelling agency is gonna want you. I wanted to be a model too,and when I went to a few modelling agencies,at the ripe age of 19,they told me I was too old! She was forty! Looking thirty-something.

The second part of the series is good too,but thinking about her plan,only in the movie it works. In real life,probably not so much.

Rebecca Gilling was 30 when the movie started and was made to look ten years older through make-up.
