The movie opens with Hal who talks on the phone, when Rebecca comes in. She is a dominatrix, who has everything scripted for her, by Hal. Everything goes well (the session takes 22 minutes of the movie's run time) until Hal gives her a very expensive watch, telling her it's the last time he's gonna see her.

This doesn't sit well with her, who starts blackmailing him, at first asking for 4 million dollars, then trying to trap him with a kid.

I personally didn't enjoy the movie, as it bored the hell out of me. Most of the time I was wondering if it was still part of the game, and at one point he even says the safe word, which means, they were still playing. Thing confirmed at the end of the movie, when he is the one pitching to her what she was asking of him the whole time and he refused to give her!

This is one of those movies that I don't ever want to watch again, as I feel I wasted my time.

I'm also sick of watching movies with weak men,dominated by strong women, who even when they don't know what they're doing, they're doing it best!

The whole movie happens in the hotel room, they only get out on the hallway. It's only two characters, the two of them.

Sanctuary is the safe word.

Google labeled it a comedy and psychological thriller, but I assure you it's neither. It's most definitely, not a comedy! I didn't find anything funny about it!

The actors were good.

The soundtrack was fine.

The movie received mostly positive reviews, although it grossed a little over 794.000 dollars at the box office.
