Sydney visits her hometown after 10 years, as she is on a short book tour. As soon as she's back ,the horror of the past catches up with her, as a series of murders start happening, targeting her cousin's friend's.

The first time I watched this movie I loved it, it was my favorite from the franchise, as I didn't like the others that much,but,it's official, I don't like slasher films anymore, if I ever liked them. I don't like the random killing without sense or reason,of people just because. If you start going on a killing spree,you better have a good reason.

I remember loving the reveal at the end, that being my favorite part of the movie.

This time the movie bored me, and I found the opening scene of scene after scene of intro,tiring. There are 3 as I recall,in which people talk about scary movies and their rules and are killed for no reason.

I also found the talk about slasher films boring.

The acting was good, the only one which I thought didn't give 100% being Emma Roberts.SPOILERS At first I thought maybe she was told to act that way,the way a random person would if a camera would be in their face,always smiling without being able to help it. I thought maybe that was the case considering she was the killer so everything made her happy,and also,when one isn't a good liar,it's hard to hide it. but she kept on acting that way even after she came out as the villain,so I guess it wasn't the case.

The soundtrack was great,the original score and also the artists featured on the soundtrack.

Rating : Coulda woulda shoulda !
