After saving the people trapped in an elevator with a ticking bomb attached to it, LAPD Swat bomb disposal officers Jack Traven and Harry Temple are receiving medals.

This doesn't sit well with the bomber who faked his death, and comes back with avengeance. He blows up a bus,and then calls Jack to let him know bus 2525 will suffer the same faith if the bus goes under 50 miles an hour, and if any of the passengers are leaving it,asking for a ransom of 3,7million dollars.

So Jack rushes through traffic to get to the said bus.

Once getting on the bus, a man with a gun thinks Jack is there for him. Trying to help, a passenger jumps him, only to make the gunner shoot,by accident, the driver.

Taking charge of the bus, Jack calls Harry who, once he starts investigating ,thinks maybe, the bomber is a former cop due to the fact he keeps on changing his ammo.

The movie is action packed from the beginning to end, the viewer just like the characters don't have time to catch their breath. The visual affects,if they are many, because everything looked so real, were great.

Keanu seemed to have been doing his own stunts,as he's always shot pretty much full frontal when he's doing a stunt (when the bomber fakes his death and the bomb explodes, pushing Keanu back into the room, hitting the wall; when he gets on the device and goes under the bus while the bus is moving).

The movie, although, in the nick of time ,always, as there was always a bomb ready to explode, had this summer feel to it, reminding me of the '90's era of just good vibes, when Hollywood used to make good movies.

The acting was fine.

I didn't like the soundtrack.

The movie is streaming on DirecTv and USA Network, and is for rent or sale on Amazon, Apple, Google, Redbox, Vudu, YouTube.

Rating : Worth a watch !
