The movie opens with Stacy who is alone, at night, in a forest, running from a supernatural entity which shows up in a mirror.

After the title credits, 2 helicopters descend upon a retreat on an island, in winter. 4 couples are welcomed by what seems to be women wearing masks.

Javier and Jean, Nick and Kate, Stacy and Michael, Andy and Olivia came to the retreat to fix their broken relationships.

After they leave their bags in the designated rooms, they all join the same large table, and are made to wear neck devices which are supposed to tell if they are telling the truth or are lying. On the wall, there’s a symbol of an upside down triangle, with candles burning underneath it.

Andy cheated the month before “just once”, and Olivia can’t trust him anymore.

Michael and Stacy started to drift apart, and they want to bring back their intimacy.

Kate dates a film critic,Nick, who is very jealous, and can’t stand when men look at Kate.

Jean says she and Javier are polyamorous, and seeing other people ruined their relationship.

They receive envelopes with personal questions that they have to answer.

Kate is asked if other men turn her on more than Nick. She says no, but the device says she’s lying. Kate is adamant that she’s not lying. When she wants to leave, angry that they call her a liar, they don’t let her.

It’s Stacy’s turn to answer and she refuses, and when she asks for Michael’s help he looks possessed, and wakes up in the dark forest from the beginning of the movie.

Walking around, she hears moans, and sees her own reflection in a mirror, making out with Andy, and Andy appears half naked in front of her. Later, Andy tells her that he’s seen her too, but completely naked.

Running from a scary entity, Stacy finds her own bracelet tangled in a branch, and her phone! When she’s trying to get it, a zombie hand is trying to catch her, and she runs scared. She meets the others and get out of the maze, thinking they were drugged.

Complaining about what the people from the retreat do to them, they tell them they can leave if they want, and they decide to stay (because the movie would be over if they leave).

Asking Michael what he saw, he says he saw Jean coming on to him.

Stacy tells Michael the reason they are on the island is her twin sister (they are identical, they even have the same mol! eye roll), Melissa, who disappeared on the island. What she doesn’t mention is, she is Melissa, her sister, Stacy, being the one who disappeared. See, Stacy left after she saw Melissa and Michael having s3x, just that Michael didn’t know he was having s3x with Melissa, he thought it was Stacy (identical in everything, indeed!)! The real Stacy was an ethnographer, and she wanted to study what is happening on the island. At the beginning of the movie we saw the real Stacy dying.

Andy is trying to get it on with Olivia, but she doesn’t want to, so he tells her it’s time for her to get over it, because he regrets it, and it’s been more than a month since it happened! Wow!

She finally gives in, and she sees Stacy having s3x with them in the mirror, so she stops!

Kate is sick, because of what she was doing in the maze, and was pushed into the branches which infected her with something making her sick. She is asking Nick to leave this place, but Nick has a fit, screaming at her. They’ve been together for a few months, by the way.

Stacy starts looking around, with the help of Andy. And finds her sister’s notebook about the place and the entity residing there (feeding on the people who come to fix their relationships), and how to k1ll it.

The movie was Ok, but I don’t think I’d watch it again, because I didn’t like it that much.

Pretty much all the characters are flawed, and have something to hide.It also looks like the movie is an excuse for the actors to get naked. I also found it odd that they were always ready to get it on, specially since the men are not attractive.

A succubus is a female demon, but in this movie they keep on referring to it as a he.The fact that it’s also represented by an upside down triangle, which is the symbol for feminine energy, I’m guessing it’s supposed to be female in the movie too.

The women were beautiful, the men not so much, except for the actor playing Michael.

I watched an English dubbed version, and it seemed the acting was fine.If it wasn’t dubbed, it wasn’t that great.

The soundtrack was good.

The visual effects were good.

Viewer discretion is advised, as the movie contains a lot of nudity.
