The movie is based on the 1964 book Simulacron 3 by Daniel F.Galouye , and the 1973 German tv mini series World on a wire.
Douglas Hall and his mentor,created a virtual reality where people exist in the 1930's.
His mentor is killed one night and Douglas is the main suspect.
His reality is soon shaken to the core as he finds out what message his mentor left for him in the program.
He starts to worry and wonder if he really killed his mentor as he has these blackouts ,and when he's coming out of them,he doesn't remember a thing.
He is fascinated by the woman who says is his mentor's daughter,and following her one day,sees her acting strange.
This is one of my favorite movies,I loved it,I love everything about it,the acting,the visual effects,the soundtrack..I would love to get into details but then I would spoil the fun of watching it.
