Cast : Halle Berry, Abigail Breslin, Michael Eklund, Morris Chestnut
Jordan is a 911 L.A. operator, who lives with the guilt of a teenager (who experiences a home invasion) dying on her watch, as she called her back when the phone disconnected.
6 months later she is teaching people who want to be operators .
As she is showing the newcomers around, one of the operators is being called by a teenager who claims she is in the trunk of a car.
As the operator is overwhelmed by the intensity of the moment, Jordan is replacing her, and starts asking the girl her name and everything else she remembers about the car she's in, and the man, so the police could find them in traffic.
The movie has a good plot and is intense, everything being in the nick of time, never having a dull moment, as Jordan and the police are trying to find the kidnapper and are hot on his tracks.
The actors were all great, from the first girl who is being kidnapped to the man working at the gas station. I was mostly impressed by Abigail Breslin who had to cry a lot, being all scared and panicked. She almost made me cry a few times.
The movie is streaming on Hulu, Netflix, Netflix Basic with Ads, Sling Tv Orange and Blue, TNT, Tubi Tv, and is for rent or sale on Amazon, Apple, DirecTv, Google, Redbox, Vudu, YouTube.
