What can I say about The Expanse? It’s about a space crew who receives a distress call and after ignoring it,one of them answers it.

Based on the expression ‘no good deed goes unpunished’,the mother ship is bombed by a stealth ship,believed to belong to Mars, and the ship which left to answer the distress call is left stranded.

 

There are people who live in space,who’ve never seen earth,and to me that seems unlikely,as we all need the sun,vitamin D to survive,and no matter what they sell us in movies,about being able to grow  plants in artificial light,I could never achieve that.

The space ship they all live on is claustrophobic,it feels prison-like,there’s not enough light(my opinion),and they don’t have any water.

 

A detective is asked to find a girl who’s gone missing and she seems to be connected to the stealth ship bombing the other into oblivion,the purpose being to create war between the military force which is Mars and earth.

 

On earth,the UN rules with an iron fist.

 

The acting is good.

 

I watched the first season and gave up as I didn’t like it. Now the series reached season 6.

 

Rating : Could have been a contender !
