The grey

Year of release : 2011

Run time : 1h58min

Genre : Action / Survival Thriller

Cast : Liam Neeson, Dermot Mulroney, Frank Grillo, Dallas Roberts

The movie is based on the short story "Ghost Walker" by Ian MacKenzie Jeffers .

John Ottway is a sharpshooter at an Alaskan oil facility, protecting the workers from wolf attacks.

He misses his wife, and goes as far as almost taking his own life.

Embarking on a return flight to Anchorage, the plane crashes in the white frozen Alaskan lands .

Many men are dead, and the few left try to cope, hoping rescue will come for them.

They have to think fast and decide what to do next,as a pack of wolves starts looking around their plane crash, eating the dead, and hunting the living.

The men decide to leave, and as they do so,they are followed by the pack of wolves, who take down whoever is left behind.

The movie was good, filled with suspense and good acting.

I loved the plane crash scene,as if seen from the lead's perspective. I also loved the dream sequences of John with his wife, and just loved how whenever he was waking up he was pulled away from her,or she was pulled from him.

The visual effects and animatronics were good.

The actors were amazing!

The soundtrack was good,I loved the song played towards the end, The City Surf by Jamin Winans, which to be honest, reminds me of The Divide's soundtrack.
