The Spanish Colombian co-production was directed and co-written by Andres Baiz.

The movie opens with Adrian watching a video of his girlfriend, Belen, telling him she is leaving him.

Not taking the news well, he goes to a bar and gets drunk, starting fights with other clients. The waitress there, takes him to her place, and they start dating.

Adrian pretty much asks her to move in with him, and being a conductor at the philharmonic, he is working most of the time, leaving her alone in the big house.

As weird things start happening with the water in the bathroom of the bedroom they share together, Fabiana thinks the house is haunted. To this adds up the fact the police come looking for Belen, as they think Adrian might have something to do with her disappearance.

30 minutes in, we get to see Belen, who moved with Adrian to Bogota,Colombia, from Spain, leaving her life there, for him. Belen sees how Adrian is acting around one of his colleagues, and starts suspecting they have an affair. Being friends with the old woman who rented them the house, the woman confides in her, telling her her husband was a former Nazi soldier who build a panic room into the main bedroom, afraid he might be found out and prosecuted.

So, Belen decides to test her man's loyalty. And she found out alright!

I personally enjoyed the movie, and the twist. It's a very unique story.

 

Adrian is a toxic man who has an affair with one of his colleagues, affair which lingers into his new relationship! I don't get why isn't he dating the colleague he likes and fools himself and other women ,wasting their time.

The guy to me is not attractive, yet he has 3 women,2 of which beautiful, falling for him. Shaking my head!

The acting was good from everyone involved,especially the 2 leading ladies.

The visual effects were good.

The soundtrack was good.

The movie received positive reviews, and grossed 6.3 million dollars at the box office, against a budget of 2.6 million.

The movie has quite a few remakes, Murder 3 ( 2013, India), Rashk (2014, Uzbekistan), The Other Side (2017, Turkey), Perdida (2019, Mexico), Hidden Face (2024, South Korea) !

Viewer discretion is advised as the movie contains nudity, mostly from the actress playing Fabiana, Martina Garcia.

Rating : It's so money !
