If all ghosts were this gorgeous..,let me just start by saying it !
So,Kate,our lead,is a lawyer who needs to get an inn appraised in order for it to be sold quickly for the Forsythe trust who doesn't want to be hit by taxes. This becomes a hard job as the inn has a ghost 12 days of the year,before Christmas -from the 13th to the 24th of December. As she gets to the inn, the 3d appraiser runs off scared.
Daniel is a ghost,but becomes flesh and blood for 12 days. He even wears glasses! He doesn't like people and wants to be left alone those 12 days, so the ones in charge of it close it for the said time.
Kate moves in, and calls the police a few times, as Daniel makes a few appearances, and she thinks a man broke in.
Daniel is doing his best to make her leave, but she's not having it. Instead, she tries to find out what happened to him, how did he die, so he can find peace and cross over.
SPOILERS AHEAD!
The 12 days were his fiance's miracle for in her opinion it was enough to learn from his mistakes and repent. He was a ghost since 1918,the year now was 2015!
Daniel was a ghost for 95 years but never tried to find out what happened to him!
Also, when he first appears he walks into the house by unlocking the door (he had the keys in his pocket when he incarnated?!) and inserts the alarm password, as he knows it!
I don't understand why an inn who has people come and go all the time, at all hours of the day and night, have an alarm system.
If that was when he first appeared, why did the appraiser run off?!
The movie was dumb,there's this scene towards the end when they kiss and she faints or something.
The ex / dead fiance was also in the house as a ghost but they never see each other !?! His k!ller,the cousin,was also in the house! I understand the ghosts being invisible to people, but how were they unseen to each other?! They are the same!
In the end,Daniel doesn't want to cross over with his fiance,the one who waited for him as a ghost! He wants to stay with a woman he just met! It's love ! How does this work by the way?! He is dead, he is a ghost, how does he become human again?! What is he gonna do for a living? Become a bartender? It doesn't make any sense!!!
I didn't like the fact they took him out of a love story and put him in another, I hate it when they do that!
They could have put someone in the story for Kate too, instead they made these two, a ghost and a woman in flesh and blood fall in love!
It would have been so much better if he crossed over with his fiance, especially since he thought she cheated with his brother, and existed through the decades with the rage of that .
It was love at first sight although Lily is unappealing. I always get annoyed when I see they put an insipid actress in the role of the hot one who knows she's hot, and everybody wants her! The woman is also after his money,as she said,the reason she is marrying him is for his inn - ain't love grand! It truly bothers me when the belle of the ball is plain but everybody is in love with her.
I "love" how in movies they sleep with makeup on,the bra on,also boots! Thumbs up!Rolling my eyes!

In spite of all this, I actually found the movie funny.
The acting was fine, except for the actress who plays Lily, she seems stiff.
The soundtrack was pretty good for a tv Christmas movie.
