Mary Fiore is a wedding planner. She is actually a very good wedding planner. She is so good, she actually increased her boss' business, making it one of the best!

She is so good, she asks her to make her a partner,or she's gonna start her own company.

Her father is a stressing man,who presents her with a man who agreed to marry her (!) although she didn't ask! Massimo is an attractive man,in my opinion more attractive than Steve, but Massimo doesn't know how to talk to women,or just her,so he comes across as an ar$ehole.

Mary sees an article in the newspaper about Francine Donnoly,a rich socialite, who is getting married, and hopes to get her as her client.

Francine is impressed with Mary's idea for the wedding, and hires her.

While walking on the street, talking to her friends on the phone, her shoe gets stuck in the manhole's cover. A driver who was busy eating an ice cream, which fell on his lap,hit a dumpster with his car, setting it in motion, making it come at rapid speed towards Mary who doesn't want to let go of her new Gucci shoe.

She is rescued by Steve, and wakes up in a hospital bed,at the hospital he works as a pediatrician.

Mary is attracted to him,and she thinks the feeling is mutual, especially since the man accepts to go out with her,at her friend's suggestion.

After,Mary is walking on clouds, in love. She goes to meet her client, who takes dance lessons for the wedding with her fiance. When the man shows up,he is Steve from the other night, just that she thought Frannie's fiance's name was Eddie. Apparently, Steve was nicknamed Eddie, from his last name,by Frannie.

Steve, keeps on talking about himself in the 3d person.

Mary is trying to dodge meeting him again, and even thinks about quitting the client. But changes her mind, and focuses on the job.

Massimo keeps on imposing on her, trying to convince her to marry him,and although they never dated he considers himself her fiance!

This was one of my favorite movies,I have it on original videotape! Last night I didn't like it so much though.

Her friend was annoying, she was all over the place! I doubt people are like that in real life!

Fran's parents, especially her mother ( who wanted to sing at her daughter's wedding, and screamed-having been drunk-while on the horse, scaring Mary's horse! After this incident, she and her husband kept on singing, learning nothing, the definition of stupid!),were annoying too!

Mary's father wasn't far from annoying either,as he wanted her to just get married, and to marry a man not only she didn't feel anything for,but she quite didn't like,as if this was the 1800's!

The acting was good,Jennifer wasn't as bad as in other movies she played in in that era.

The soundtrack was bad,I hated the artists' songs featured on the soundtrack, they were so common,so generic,so boring! They definitely didn't stand the test of time. Also,at the end of the movie they play JLo's song 'Love don't cost a thing' which doesn't match the movie at all, because the movie wasn't about whatever the song is about,I don't know why was it on the soundtrack!
