Vadim waits one early morning for Vera as he is a taxi driver. Seeing the address she put into the app, he thinks it must be a glitch, but she tells him she really wants to travel 1400 km, to Ufa.

Although at first he doesn’t want to, he agrees to take her there.

On the road Vera talks a lot, lying just as much, and asking him to stop along the way to see the sights or to buy things from the people selling by the side of the road.

One night she lies to him she is a thief and people are after her. Vadim almost throws her out.

Because they don’t have rooms at a hotel in the town they are in, Vadim has to call his parents, and they sleep at his parents’ place.

In the end she comes clean that she is going to her school’s 15 years reunion, as she’s an actress now (Vadim’s parents recognized her) and she wants to brag.

I personally hated the movie. I found it boring, and it felt much longer than it actually was. It’s a stupid movie about nothing! I can’t believe any of the leads wanted to be in it. Maybe they knew the writer/director Ivan Petukhov.

I actually watched it for Pyotr Fyodorov, and he looks awful, with his long hair. I saw him in quite a few movies lately, with long hair. I don’t know who told him to let his hair grow, or that he looks good with long hair, or maybe he thinks he looks good with long hair, but he looks awful. He looks like a bored,depressed,tired, middle aged junkie.

Vera was annoying. She talks too much and is a liar. From the moment she gets into his cab, she is acting as if they are friends or are together.

Speaking of which, people keep on saying she looks at Vadim and he looks at her as if they like each other, but I didn’t see any of that. Anyway, Fyodorov has such a Poker face you can’t tell when his character likes another. You watch the movie thinking he doesn’t give a F when apparently his character does! Or maybe he’s actually bad at conveying emotion of that kind.

Back to Vera, I don’t believe an actress would just jump in a cab, with a stranger, to spend days on the road together (I don’t even know for how long they travelled because they are not good at showing us the days and nights. It seems like only 2 nights and it can’t be, it’s 1400 km!), and that she would fall for a middle aged taxi driver!

I’m also sick of this movie trend, in which the actress is 10 years younger than the actor she plays with. Or the actresses are forever in their 20’s, while the man is in his 40’s-50’s.Actresses their own age are not good enough for them, I guess!

The acting was good.

I hated the soundtrack.

The movie is labelled a comedy, but I didn’t find anything funny about it.
