The movie is written, directed and produced by Jac Schaeffer in her directorial debut.

Sometime in the future, a device implanted in the wrist countdowns the time left to meeting people's soulmate.

Oona, an orthodontist, has a blank timer ever since she had the procedure done, and whenever she meets a man, she takes him to the programmer's office to install one.

Her stepsister and roommate, Steph, has a timer which tells her she'll meet her true love when she'll be in her 40's! So,she has one night stands with men who's timers tells them they have a few months or weeks left until they meet the one.

Oona meets a grocery store clerk slash drummer in a rock band. She likes him but thinks him too young, yet she dates him on and off thinking he's gonna meet his soulmate in a few months. Mickey reveals he doesn't have a timer and doesn't want one,as he doesn't want to live his life never loving anyone,in perpetual waiting for the one.

Steph finally meets a man she likes, the son of an old man who lives in the retirement home she works for, that she is friends with. He doesn't even have a timer,as he thinks it's dumb, and I agree with him.

The movie was surprisingly good, I actually liked it. This device makes people be more shallow than the usual,as the ones with the device don't get involved with anyone,at least not emotionally, and as always with technology, it's not bringing people together, but pulls them further more apart.

It's a movie which makes you think, what would you do if such a device existed?Would you get one? My answer is No,because I don't think such a device would work,it doesn't make any sense. But it doesn't have to make sense in real life, only in the movie.

Oona says Mickey is young and immature, but she's the one who can't commit, and is unable to love ,as she keeps on waiting and looking for the one! Mickey loves her,he wants to be with her,not just for a short while, but she is afraid of commitment. So who's the immature one ,here?

The sisters were beautiful, I liked Oona's dresses,so feminine and pretty.

I honestly don't remember the soundtrack.

The visual effects probably involved the device, and were good.
