The movie is based on the characters created by Luc Besson.
Frank is the driver of a very important family in Miami, his job being to drive their son to school and back. One day he is asked by the mother to take the kid to the doctor, and while there,he notices things that don't match up going on.
So he decides to take the kid home.
This makes the villains open fire on them, yet, Frank manages to drive the kid home safely.
Entering the premises of his employers, the crazy girlfriend of the crime lord knocks on their car window as he is on the phone with the crime lord. He has to do their bidding, and drive to where they want.
Once there, he realizes his car has a bomb underneath, and is determined to find out what's going on.
Losing the bomb, he calls his French friend who is visiting him for 2 days(who is held and questioned by the police and he decides to cook for them),and asks him to find out who these people are and where they live,so he can find out why did they want to inject the kid.
Frank is trying to solve the mystery while the cops are after him, thinking him part of the crime team. The only one on his side, believing him is the missis.
The movie was action packed, I loved the fight scenes, Jason Statham seems to have been doing his own stunts. The movie had also its funny moments, delivered mostly by the French friend.
The acting was fine, the only one who didn't seem as good as the others being the actress playing Lola, who's actually my favorite character.
The soundtrack was Ok.
Transporter 2 is on HBO Max and Netflix.
