Shante Smith is always helping her friends when it comes to man trouble, as she always seems to have all the answers. But soon, she finds herself having man trouble too, as one night when her man calls to tell her he's working late, she finds him on the dance floor of her favorite spot with a pretty woman.

She approaches him,and she acts like she's just a friend, making him act like he's just a friend.

At night, he doesn't call.

Keith calls the next morning, and she doesn't take the call, asking him to call in 10 minutes (as punishment),when she takes the call she makes it brief, and asks him to meet her at a restaurant, where she breaks up with him.

Shante starts her 10 day programme to get him back, to make him behave, just that his best friend knows the rules she's playing by,and things don't go as planned,as he gives him advice on do's and don't's.

Shante is breaking the 4th wall, as she's talking to the audience giving women advice on how to treat men when they did wrong.

Although the critics gave it unfavorable reviews, the movie grossed 22 million dollars against a budget of 13 million.

This is one of my favorite movies, it's funny and entertaining, I watched it so many times through the years (and I still laugh with tears at some scenes), I know it by heart. If you want to watch something to lift your spirit up,this movie might do it.

I also liked the interior design, and some of Vivica's outfits.

The only thing I found off with the movie is, I thought the characters were too young (28 years old the ladies,29 the men) to have such important jobs and such mansions (like Shante's).

The actors are funny and natural (Vivica is gorgeous),the story just flows. Bobby Brown has a small role.

The soundtrack was fine, although a few of the songs didn't age well,in my humble opinion.

Viewer discretion is advised,as the movie contains mature language.

Rating : It's so money !
