Ryan is in love with the popular girl in school, Ashley. He is best friends with Maggie, who lives literally right next door.
The star athlete, Chris, seems to be into Maggie, so he proposes him a deal: he helps him with Maggie, he is helping him with Ashley. Ryan takes the deal.
While he is telling him to be nice to Maggie, writing her poems on his behalf, taking her quiz, Chris is telling him to be mean to Ashley, because everybody is nice to her, hence she is not interested in him.
At first, Ryan thinks Chris is making fun of him, but he realizes she really is like that, she only shows interest in him when he is rude to her. So, he plays along, while he pretty much does everything in Chris' name.
Pretty soon he realizes Ashley is not so amazing, as the outside doesn't match the inside, and he is in love with Maggie. He also finds out Chris only wants to be with Maggie because she was the only girl in high school who said No to him..so Ryan has to make a choice, Ashley or Maggie?
This was a movie I actually loved as a teen, now, not so much.
The actors are fine, but there's quite a few things in there, I can't believe this movie is aimed at teenagers. The movie has at least one disgusting scene ( includes vomit ), a vulgar one ( s3x ed), and so on, which is not to my liking.
The movie is for rent or sale on Apple, Google, Vudu, YouTube.
Viewer discretion is advised,as the movie contains adult content.
