Robert Lewis is following Cathy Noland around town, watching her do her everyday routine. He follows her to her Yoga class, and when she returns to the parking lot, he grabs her, tying her up, bringing the car around, putting her in the trunk.

He takes her to his place, and locks her in a hidden 10x10 soundproof room. After leaving her there for a while, he comes back, takes the tape off her mouth, and asks for her name. She tells him her name is Cathy Noland, but he says she’s lying and leaves. He does this a few times.

Cathy screams while she’s alone ,hoping someone will hear her, but she’s in a soundproof room ,so no sound comes out.

Robert keeps on watching old news on tv about a case in which a few people were k1lled by nurses who were acquitted, and videos he took of his wife. And loads his gun.

 

Cathy manages to get her arms tied behind her back to the front. When he comes in, she manages to beat him up, and get out, knocking him out. Finding her phone in her purse she tries to call the police but there’s no signal, so she puts it in her pocket. She finds a knife, managing to untie her feet, but she can’t get out of the house.

Robert gets up, and tells her he knows much more about her than she thinks. He invites her to have lunch with him, asking for her name again. Cathy says the name he doesn’t want to hear, and they start fighting again. Cathy almost knocks him unconscious, but he manages to overpower her.

Back in the 10x10 room, Cathy is trying to call the police, but there’s no signal.

Robert comes in and asks her again her name and about herself. He tells her he knows she is lying ,and if she doesn’t tell him the truth he’ll shoot her.

She tells him her father left her mother for another woman and the town threated them, the victims, like they’ve done something wrong, to the point, her sister k1lled herself. And that’s the name she uses, not her real name. She also tells him the victims were bad people, and his wife was cheating on him with another man, and after, watching the videos, Robert notices his wife was called by the guy she was cheating with when he was filming her.

I personally enjoyed the movie. It keeps you wondering what’s going on, who’s in the wrong, what truly happened, and will she get away?

Whoever made this movie must have been obsessed with turquoise (so am I) because Robert’s house is all turquoise (even the furniture), his wife’s phone, Cathy’s screensaver, and even Cathy is wearing turquoise.

The actors were good, the two leads were great, I don’t know which one was better, maybe Kelly Reilly, because she had to act scared, cry, scream, and so on.

The soundtrack was good.
