The movie, written and directed by Mihai Bendeac, is based on the comedy series released in 2016, of the same title.

On his death bed, a business man from Denmark leaves his whole fortune to his relatives in Romania. Under one condition : they need to have college studies.

Malone is the only one who has 12 grades, but didn’t pass the final exams to get a diploma. To get the 9 million Euros, he has to get back to school and take the exams again.

His good friend, who’s always by his side, Roby Roberto, calls his lawyer who says as soon as he passes the exams he is gonna find him a college ,even unaccredited, as the will doesn’t specify if Malone has to finish the studies, just to offer proof of having been enrolled in college.

Malone gets back to school, and because he doesn’t know anything, Roberto hires an actor for 8500 Euros to pretend to be him, and take the exams in his place.

They even make him a prosthetic mask, so well done, not even they can tell who’s the real Malone.

 

The actor passes all the exams, and Malone gets the money.

Problem is, he falls prey to internet scammers who tell him they can quintuple the money, and he gives them all the money!

I personally enjoyed the movie, I laughed with tears the whole time at the things these ridiculous people were saying and doing to each other. But, through it all, the nagging and the name calling, they stay friends and always help each other.

The acting was good.

The soundtrack was good.

The movie can be found on the Netflix platform.
