Mallory is driving her fiance's car to Denver, for their wedding. Seeming unsure if to tie the knot, she takes the scenic route.

Talking to her sister we find out her sister didn't buy a plane ticket yet, to get to the wedding, as Mallory seems unsure. Turns out the fiance chose his job instead of her, and also canceled their honeymoon.

Taking another scenic route the car breaks down. Without cell signal,she can't call the AAA.

Not knowing what to do, she gets in the car, and pushing her chair back, she finds underneath Call Girls cards,realizing her fiance's been cheating. Trying to open a soda can, it sprayed all over her shirt. While changing, a handsome man approaches her.

He fixes her car, and while she drives away, she feels bad about leaving him on the road, so she offers him a ride, although she's afraid of driving with a stranger in the car.

She says she can take him to the highway,but once there she says she could take a break,at the same hotel he wants to go.

Seeing she is willing to take him further than expected, he switches on her, and starts talking about fate. Seeing she's uneasy, he tells her he's not flirting with her, because he doesn't think she could handle him anyway!

When she stops the car, asking him to get out, he grabs her and tells her to drive,pulling a knife.

He tells her he kept on giving her chances to "let him go" but she kept on offering to help, so, him punishing her for being nice it's on her!

Not knowing what to do, and seeing the sign for Curve ahead with him not wearing his seat belt, Mallory speeds up, and drives off the road, into a valley.

When she wakes up, the car is upside down, and she's trapped with her leg caught between the seat and the car door.

The man was thrown outside the car, and gets up. Seeing she is trapped in the car, he refuses to help, and leaves her there. He comes to see her every once in a while, as he wants to see what's happening to her.

The first part of the movie is a sort of survival thriller, as Mallory is trapped in the car, and has to figure out what to do, how to free herself. She spends a week trapped in the car with no food or water. She catches a rat walking on top of her one night, and eats a bit of it, and even tries to drink her own urine when it finally starts to rain. SPOILERS The rain doesn't stop, and it floods the area (luckily for her ) releasing the car pinned against the tree, and she is released.

The last part of the movie, which is much shorter, is like a serial k1ller movie, in which she finds the cabin the man has been talking about, filled with corpses of the people who offered to help him, only their daughter being still alive and tied to the bed.

The k1ller thinks if the people who offer to help him offer to help him more than needed, it's up to him to do the terrible things he does to them, as he offered them a way out, but they didn't take it.So him k1lling them it's on them!

The actors were good, Julianne Hough is acting scared well, while Teddy Sears plays the charming yet scary deranged hitchhiker just as good.

The soundtrack was good, I liked the Roxette song they kept playing (Roxette was one of my favorite bands growing up).

The landscapes were beautiful.
