Cyborg 2 was released in some countries as "Glass shadow". The movie is the sequel to the 1989 Jean-Claude Van Damme one, but it's not related to it.

The year is 2074, and two major cybernetic corporations from the USA and Japan, fight for domination of the market.

Cassella Reese, also known as Cash, is one of the prototype cyborgs designed for corporate espionage and assassination. She can mimic anything from love to fear, and...unlike the pathetic cyborg in the first movie, she can fight!

The US cybernetic corporation plans to use Cash as a suicide b0mber to eliminate the Japanese cybernetic corporation's board of directors in a hostile takeover, in order to have monopoly over the whole cybernetic market.

What the leaders of the US corporation don't know is, Cash has been talking to Mercy, a renegade cyborg who can communicate through any electronic device.

Mercy tells her to run away, and talk to her human combat trainer, who seems to have feelings for her, in order to get out alive.

Mercy is correct, as Colt does like her, and helps her escape.

They are hunted by an assassin hired by the corporation, Daniel Bench, who is obsessed of his face. I don't know what is it about Billy Drago, I keep seeing him in movies in which he plays mutilated people obsessed with their face.

This movie was far superior to the first one, as it has good acting and a good soundtrack. The plot was better than the first one's but it was not so good either.

I liked that it had the heart and was better presented. I love the scene with Mercy staring at the picture of his dead wife, and the last scene of the movie. Those scenes get to you, they are well done.

I actually enjoyed watching this movie, it didn't bore me or make me laugh at anything ridiculous that doesn't make sense, like the first one.

It does have a fight scene in the ring which I don't know why is it in there, between Colt and Daniel with a messed up face.

And it does have scenes from the fist one, which I don't know how could they have been filmed by anyone from this movie's universe,especially since the context in that one was the plague k1lling everyone, and the fight happened on deserted streets .

Not to mention they tell us lies, as in the first one the cyborg didn't want the good guy's help and stayed with the villains.

Although Mercy is a cyborg, he is old,so he can age?! Cash doesn't age at the end, when many years have passed.

The visual effects were good.
