The Borealis mining vessel navigates through an asteroid field and gets hit while its crew is in cryo sleep. Andy is woken up by his AI survival suit, LEONARD.

The space ship and Andy's pod crash land on an unnamed planet from an unmapped solar system.

Andy's suit losses oxygen but he managed to fix it, although he only has like 30% left. He gets out, looking for survivors.

He finds one, a former marine. Unluckily, the marine gets attacked by a creature, while Andy isn't paying attention, so he thinks the man ran away from him so he won't share his oxygen with him.

He is contacted by Naomi, one of his superiors, who's telling him she's stuck in her pod, asking him to come rescue her. Andy thinks for a while, as he doesn't have much oxygen left and his AI is telling him not to do it, as it's too far away for his oxygen supply.

Andy decides to help her, and on his way to her encounters these weird alien creatures looking like some sort of hybrid scorpion, attacking and eating all the crew members of the ship.

I enjoyed the movie, it's short and packed up, there's no filler scenes. It even has a few funny moments deriving from the AI ignoring or not understanding Andy's commands. The characters have growth, there's human connection and emotion. We understand why they accepted the mission (to escape, forget their past) and who they are as a person.

The actors were good. Anthony Ramos , who had to play most of the movie alone, was amazing. Zachary Quinto is the voice of LEONARD. Naomi Scott's character appears in the second part of the movie, after the 50 minutes marker, and until then we only hear her voice.

The visual effects were good. But I didn't like the creatures they created. They could have come up with something better.

The soundtrack was good.

The movie was filmed in 2020,in Budapest,Hungary, and premiered in Vietnam in 2024!

Google labeled this as comedy, but I assure you it's not, it's horror!
