Dracula : Dead and loving it
Year of release : 1995
Run time : 1h28min
Genre : Parody / Comedy
Starring : Leslie Nielsen,Mel Brooks,Amy Yasbeck,Peter MacNicol,SAteven Weber,Lysette Anthony,Megan Cavanagh
The movie is a hilarious parody of Francis Ford Coppola’s Dracula. It’s not exactly the same, doesn’t follow the action of that one to the dot,but is entertaining. The acting was good,it has a few amazing dance scenes..
The movie follows Dracula,Leslie Nielsen, after meeting with Renfield when purchasing Carfax Abbey, enslaving him,and moving to London, where he meets Lucy and Mina.
Dracula doesn’t quite master the art of hypnosis and quite a few funny scenes ensue due to this.
Abraham Van Helsing is an expert in all, even gynecology, and is good at “location, location, location” as he never really helps in anything in an action scene, just tells people what to do while watching from the sidelines.
Jonathan is adorable in relation to Mina as it's obvious he loves her.
This is one of my favorite movies,I watched it so many times and still laughed with tears. The actors are funny and lovable.
