The movie is based on the book "Break my heart one thousand times" by Daniel Waters.I personally didn't read it,so I don't know how much of it is found in the movie.

After a lab experiment gone wrong,the world had wiped out a great number of its people. These people are somehow not gone as they haunt the living as ‘remnants’ doing what they did at the time of the event before fading away.

Veronica’s father was one of the victims and she can still see him each morning at the breakfast table.

As the events of the present unfold, new remnants appear,from the time before the event took place.And the ones who already haunt the living, start doing different things.

A new remnant appears in Ronnie's bathroom as she’s taking a shower. Doing research she finds out the man is supposed to be a violent serial killer.’Supposed to be’ being the key expression,as it seems he is trying to warn her.

I liked the movie,the haunting winter atmosphere.The plot was good,keeps you in suspense,and the action unfolds fast.I liked her teacher,mr.Bittner,he was funny and he seemed like one of the best who care about their students,until the twist at the end.

The actors were all great.Dermot Mulroney is one of my favorites,and he still has it in the looks department,as I still thought he was the best looking in the whole movie!

The soundtrack was beautiful.
