A man wakes up on a chair in a lab, and the phone rings. He picks up, and he’s being told to leave if he wants to live. Since he doesn’t know who he is, as he doesn’t remember anything about himself, he does.

The male voice on the phone tells him now he can control any electronic device.

The male voice tells him to go to room 404 where he’ll find clothes. The voice also tells him to look for the dancing fairy, who will give him answers.

Walking through the corridors, he realizes he’s inside the Neuronic company which manufactures neurochips to enhance the human body (there’s adds on a screen). Their new chip model being able to heal and protect the body, curing hereditary diseases.

Apparently his name is Leon, as one of his colleagues call him by this name.She tells him room 404 is his office. He thinks the guards are after him.

He goes to his office, and when he sees a picture and touches it, he has flashbacks. He finds a storage box which has written on it “Put me on”, and that’s where he finds the clothes he puts on.

The guards come in, wanting to take him to the hospital room, but he beats everybody up, as apparently he knows martial arts now.

Leon has a chip implanted and he can control devices, locking and unlocking doors, and moving cars.

He finds the dancing fairy as a big hologram on a building, and before getting to her he realizes he is a wanted man, as his picture is plastered all over the news.

He keeps on having flashbacks, but he can’t see people’s faces.

Inside the building, the Dancing Fairy hologram keeps on repeating “Hot Wings Club” and he gets a message on where to find the man he’s been talking to on the phone, when she freezes.

Following the instructions he ends up in a storage room where enhanced with technology people are trying to get him.

The man waits for him outside, and he gets in his car. He tells him his name is Miguel, and professor Henry Mills sent the enhanced humans after him, to k1ll him. He tells him Henry Mills owns Neuronic and Leon was his right hand man, the lead developer.

Miguel takes him to his place, and shows him the news about him and his family being involved in an accident, in which they died, except for him.

He tells him Henry orchestrated the accident so he could implant the chip inside him, with erasable memories.

He also tells him he can only get back his memory if he goes back to the lab where the chip was implanted. He goes further to say he has to go to Henry’s place to find out where the lab is. Didn’t he just leave the lab?!

Miguel gives him a bracelet he made so he can track him. He also gives him a gun, in case Henry refuses to help.

 

When he gets to Henry’s place, he meets a woman who knows him, as they dated. When he touches her he has flashbacks of them together. She takes her bathing suit off by the pool, in front of him, while, by the way, there are guards around, and her father! I guess she couldn’t change inside the house, like a normal person! I think they cut a scene out ,as she only puts on a t-shirt, and she’s fully clothed!

Anyway, she says her name is Alice, and going inside the house after her, he meets her father, Henry.

Henry tells him Leon wanted the chip.

Henry takes him to the lab, and Alice follows them.

Henry plays to him the video Leon recorded of himself before the procedure, but as he starts watching it, the bracelet releases an EMP, and Miguel comes in, and steals the developing idea for the chip. Leon realizes Miguel sent the enhanced humans after him.

Henry tells him Miguel is an arms dealer who posed as a venture capitalist who wanted to get his hands on the chip.

Miguel wants to get the chip out of Leon, and Henry tries to stop them, so Leon manages to get away, taking Alice with him.

Leon goes home, finally watching the video, and realizes he has a daughter who has a degenerative disease inherited from her mother who died of it, and he implanted the chip into himself to test it, as he wanted to save his daughter.

I personally enjoyed the movie. It has great action / fighting scenes, and I liked how it was filmed, the camera angles (when the lead falls, the camera falls with him, going to the same angle he’s at).

Leon teams up with his daughter, his daughter’s nanny, and Alice, against the villains, trying to save Henry but also his daughter, who’s condition is getting worse.

The acting was good.

The soundtrack was so and so, as at times it sounded good, and it matched, but most times it didn’t match whatever was on the screen. I think that a better soundtrack, could have elevated the movie.

The visual effects were good.

It seems that somewhere around 2023, the Russians discovered aerial shots and love them, because all the Russian movies I watched lately have them in them.

You can watch the full movie for free on YouTube, it’s dubbed in German, and it has auto generated English translations which are pretty good.
