Christine is a spoiled and selfish teenager who decides to go by the name Lady Bird, and is forcing her parents, teachers and classmates to call her by that made up name(when she doesn't get her way she throws a fit).

This leading character is very unliakeable to me, as she is used to getting things her way : she wants to go to an expensive college in New York although her parents are broke and barely make ends meet, she likes a guy so in order to get close to him she gets close to one of his female friends and lies to her about her life, she alienates her best friend because the friend of her boyfriend is popular, while her bestie is not..

So,although she likes a certain nun who is her teacher ( she is in Christian school) she vandalizes her car writing on its back among many other things - Just married to Jesus-, to impress the popular girl.Although she finds out her father is depressed because he lost his business and at his age can't find a job anymore, she still wants to go to the expensive college, and in the end she goes there,as her parents get a morgage on their house,so she could go.

She is ashamed of her parents and her whereabouts, always makes mean remarks regarding their house and its location.

Christine is introduced by having a temper tantrum while in the car with her mother, and because things don't go her way, she jumps out of it,while the car is in motion,so she breaks an arm.

I personally didn't like the movie, didn't like the leading character.

The actors are fine, and that's pretty much it.

The movie is streaming on DIRECTV, Fubo Tv, Kanopy, Showtime, Showtime Amazon Channel, Showtime Roku Premium Channel, Spectrum on Demand, and is for rent or buy on Amazon Prime Video, Apple iTunes, Google Play Movies, Microsoft Store, Redbox, Vudu, YouTube.

Rating : Could have been a contender !
