Lanie seems to be living the perfect life : she's a reporter / tv personality in Seattle,she is engaged to be married to a famous baseball player,her boss sent her tape to a national tv station ,and chances are she can become a national tv personality.

Her boss insists she works with Pete,if she wants to work network,and not just be local. Lanie doesn't want to work with Pete,and it's obvious they have history,although she says the opposite.

She interviews a homeless prophet who tells her she is going to die next Thursday. At first she thinks Pete put him up to it,but Pete denies it.

She goes to see the man in a desperate attempt to prove herself he's a fraud. But all the man says comes true.

So,she starts reevaluating her life,her relationships( with her fiance who wants to be with her because they don't have real talks ; with Pete ; and with her family, Lanie doesn't get along with her sister,who seems to hate her),her career.

The actors are great,I honestly liked the story, it's lighthearted, a romance about the things which truly matter in life. It feels it's a self discovery journey for Lanie.
