Sarah Taylor is a police psychologist who is working on a case, trying to find out if the criminal was of sane mind or insane when committing the crime.

She has a friend who is trying to make her date him, but she is not having it.

She meets Tony Ramirez when out grocery shopping, and the man doesn't quit until he gets her number (although, he doesn't seem to like her whenever she turns her back on him).

They start dating, and that coincides with her receiving scary notes and gifts, and she thinks it's Tony.

Her father also appears in the picture after many years, the very same night she meets Tony. Sarah seems afraid of him,as the very sound of his voice causes her to jump scared, breaking one of her tomato sauce jars. He wants to stay at her place as he doesn't have much money left, but she throws him out. Also, whenever he tries to get near her, she moves away, scared.

Sarah keeps on breaking up and then get back together again with Tony, as she is attracted to him, but she thinks he might be the one sending her threatening notes and gifts, and breaking into her home.

He is always going away for work to Boston, so she hires a private detective to find out what he is up to.

The movie is one of my favorites and I have it on original videotape. It has a good plot and a really great reveal at the end.

The actors were good, especially Rebecca De Mornay.

I didn't like the soundtrack, which actually reminded me of the Alfred Hitchcock movies.

Viewer discretion is advised as the movie contains nudity.

The movie is streaming on The Roku Channel, Tubi Tv, and is for rent or sale on Amazon, Apple, Google, Vudu, YouTube.

Rating : Worth a watch !
