A family goes on a tropical holiday as the parents want to tell the children, afterwards, that they are separating.

 

There, they take a trip to a secluded beach where other people, couples, join.

Soon they realize they are stuck, without the possibility of getting out, and they age rapidly.

They also discover they all have some disease which, in some cases gets worse, killing them.

 

The acting was fine, but it seemed a bit far fetched.

 

I like Shyamalan movies, I liked this one too, but I don't think that kids growing up so fast would act like adults, I think they'd have the mind of a kid. There was a scene with the kids playing and the girl ends up pregnant. What kind of game did they play, honestly?

 

The camera angles, blurring people's faces, so we wouldn't see they age fast, was a nice trick.

 

SPOILER - at the reveal, that was just evil, to just wait around,watching these people getting sick, old and die, even the kids who did nothing wrong. At first I thought maybe it was a serial killer who liked to see people suffer. Still,the end doesn't justify the means.
