Kate dies on the day of her wedding, crushed by an ice statue which was supposed to be an angel without wings. She wakes up in the after life with an angel without wings who loses her patience with her, once she says angels have no wings, thinking it's a prank.

One year later, her fiance's sister, Chloe (who thinks he's been alone for too long! One year of being alone after your fiance died is not long!), takes him to a psychic, Ashley, who also has a catering business with whom she thinks to be her "gay" best friend.

When Ashley tells Henry to think of Kate something happens, and she makes an appearance in Ashley's life, haunting her.

His sister (who wants him to date her 18 year old friend who's good at orals! Henry looks 30 by the way!), goes back to the psychic, with Kate's diary, so she could fake getting messages from her, to tell him Kate wants him to move on. Thing is, Kate does not want him to move on!

Ashley stalks him and meets him where he shops for groceries, and pretends to have messages from Kate, and they end up having lunch together.

Ashley telling him she gets messages from Kate, makes him want to see her again, and they end up going on a date again!

Kate realizes Ashley can hear her, so she pretends to be a client, for she can also see her, and once at the reading, pretends to be possessed, and tells her to leave Henry alone.

Ashley freaks out, and stays inside her home for a week, while Henry keeps on calling her, until Chloe comes with more information on Kate, and shows her her picture!

From that moment on, she is at war with Kate, as she wants to date Henry, and doesn't want to stop seeing him. If this was a horror movie ,things would have gone differently, as you'd think no one would like to mess with a ghost! Except for Ashley, who accepts the challenge, like she has something to prove to herself and Kate.

I personally enjoyed the movie. It was funny, I laughed many times, sometimes with tears!

Despite all this, it felt the movie lacked substance, as it is a movie about someone who lost the one they presumably loved, right on their wedding day, which traumatizes someone (SPOILER at the end of the movie he marries Ashley, and I was thinking, you'd think he'd be traumatized and avoid weddings).

I personally would have reacted the same if I was in Kate's place, once in the afterlife, when it comes to not wanting anyone to date my man. And speaking of Henry, it feels he moved on quickly from the trauma of losing his fiance on his wedding day. There's no fear of dating, of commitment..and so on. Something like this traumatizes you for life.

The angel in the afterlife is the worst angel ever,as she has no patience with the dead and sends her back without telling her what her mission is. At the end she does the same thing to her, but waiting for her to do what she didn't tell her to do, as if this dead woman has magic powers and can read angels' minds! This angel should have her angel card or whatever, removed, because she's very bad at her job!It was not funny, she was just annoying!

I liked Ashley's building and her apartment.

The actors are good.

The soundtrack was good.

The visual effects are good.

The movie grossed 21.5 million dollars at the box office, against a budget of 10 million.

The movie has negative reviews (I understand why), and received a C+ from Cinema Score audiences.

Rating : Worth a watch!
